Rain rain go AWAY
Rick B from NYC, NY asks "What are your tips when it comes to riding in the rain? Both when it comes to handling the wet road and the rider handling the rain itself.
I learned a few things through the years but I'm open to learning more tips since I seem to have a rain cloud that likes to follow me and eventually catches up to me from time to time. LOL
Nobody wants to get caught in the rain but dedicated riders always do. It is especially important to check your tire pressure. The quality of your tire makes a big difference as well. Easy on the breaks especially the front to avoid sliding out. Try to stay out of the middle of the lane, as that is where oil tends to be on the road. Stay more where the car tires hit the road. If you have an open air cleaner get proper coverage for it.
